Welcome To The Royal Palm Isles Neighborhood Group Website
Royal Palm Isles is considered one of Oakland Park’s best kept secrets. Just west off of Powerline Road and north of Oakland Park Blvd, you enter the neighborhood traveling west on Park Lane West (NW 38th Street). Entering the neighborhood, you are welcomed by three parks. Easterlin Park is a famous 46.6-acre Designated Urban Wilderness Area. Just across the street is Oakland Bark, a popular Dog Park designed to accommodate both large and small 4 legged friends. The third park is Royal Palm Park, popular among joggers, bikers, basketball and tennis players. A morning or evening walk around this park’s lake is truly spectacular.
Royal Palm Isles is closed to drive through traffic creating a safe neighborhood where people feel a true sense of pride and community. People here are friendly and mornings are filled with dog walkers, joggers and people riding bikes. The neighborhood is friendly and as diverse as most parts of the Fort Lauderdale area. And the neighborhood Group has brought many people closer together to work on causes that have an impact on the well being and of our lives and also take action on issues that will continue to improve our property value. Our neighbor group works closely with the Broward County Sheriff’s office to provide extra safety and also provides a quick text message/email response among participating neighbors when they see something suspicious.
Royal Palm Isles continues to go through a renaissance as neighbors and the City of Oakland Park continue to take action to preserve this gem of a neighborhood where most homes sit on a canal or lake. Some homes even sit across the water from natural preserves creating a sense of privacy and allowing wildlife and birds to flourish. Manatee make regular visits due to our warmer brakish water and seeing them is always a special experience. No other neighborhood offers so many natural element of beauty while still only being minutes from downtown, the beaches, Wilton Manors, and Coral Ridge, just to name a few. Home prices continue to remain affordable which has brought new owners into the neighborhood giving them the ability to beautify homes and landscaping which benefits us all.
If you’ve not been through our community or are looking for a place to call home, visit Royal Palm Isles. You will be pleasantly surprised.
